What does your home smell like... right now? Does it smell like your family's latest meal, cleaning products, or pets, perhaps? Sometimes we forget the impact that aromas have on our energy level and mood.

Spiced Orange Harvest

For the morning or midday, consider scenting your home with Spiced Orange Harvest. As you would expect from a citrus based scent, this aroma is uplifting and cheering. The cloves and cinnamon inspire a stimulated feeling to give you the get-up-an-go required to keep up with your busy life. It may even inspire you to bake something!

Lemon Lavender

For afternoon company, scent your entertainment area with Lemon Lavender, an inviting blend of tangy lemon that brings a feeling of cheer and celebration combined with the summer warmth lavender that keeps everybody awake. While you're at it, why not serve lemon cake and lavender tea? Warning: If you would like your guests to move on quickly, choose another aroma!

Pomegranate Orange

For an inspired romantic evening with energy, try Pomegranate Orange. This scent is a deliciously sweet blend of ruby pomegranate with an orange zing to keep things exciting. Plan on sleeping? Be sure to turn off your wax warmer before winding down for the evening's shut-eye. Or, what the heck?! Pass on sleep altogether. ;)

Have you enjoyed the aroma of Spiced Orange Harvest, Lemon Lavender, or Pomegranate Orange in your home? What Scentsy scent do you use to uplift your spirit and energize your precious moments?

Ok, I am one to try new things and I have tried my share of home based businesses to no avail until this one. Usually when I start a business I am excited and ready to tackle a new challenge but something always happens. My heart is not in it because I do not believe in what I am doing. Usually this is caused by one of two things. The first is because I feel the product or service is not helpful or, in my opinion, safe to the everyday consumer. The second is simply I do not feel passionate enough about it to want to devote most of my time to make it successful. Until now....

I first came across Scentsy products when preparing to move to Seattle, WA from Denver, CO. I was selling some furniture and it just so happens that the person that came to buy my desk (that would not fit into my new house!) was a Scentsy consultant! I was curious at first and asked her many questions. How much do they cost? How long does the scent last? Is it safe? I showered her with questions and concerns of mine. She answered all of them to my satisfaction so I decided to take the leap and try them out. I waited anxiously for my shipment to arrive and like a kid on Christmas, dove into the box as soon as it arrived. The scents were amazing and the warmer was beautiful, I was impressed... I plugged it in, added the wax and waited for my wife to get home.

Of course, my wife was a little late that night... Impatiently I waited. When she arrived she immediately noticed the incredible scent filling our house and asked if that was the new Scentsy products I had ordered. I excitedly said "Yes!" and immediately began to show her all of the 80+ scents that you can choose from.

Yes, I am a guy.... But yes, I too like my home to smell inviting and warm to not only myself and my wife but guests when they stop by. I have always loved candles. Candles produce ambiance and of course the scents. The only problem is that when you blow out a candle or have a wick lit too high, you notice a TON of smoke that leaves the candle; this of course is what you can "see".

Burning a candle causes soot and possible lead in the air. Unfortunately, some candle makers outside North America still put lead into their wicks for a slower burn as well as a straighter wick. These two concerns are things we want to avoid not only for ourselves but our family, including pets. Another problem is the risk of fire and burning of the skin from wax. We will broach these topics later but I wanted to touch on them quickly to show you why I am so excited (Scentsy wax does not burn skin nor does it start fires!).

I believe in this product and am glad to see a company so concerned with not only beauty and aroma but the safety of our families that we all hold closest to our hearts.
